Vista Meadows is at 2450 Westminster Way. The park district describes the dog area as a fenced grassy hillside reached by taking the paved path uphill from the playground and over the crest. Off-leash access applies inside that dog area; keep your dog leashed outside it.
LARPD lists its dog parks as open from sunrise to sunset. Pack waste bags and a leash for each dog. Its rules limit each person to two dogs, require a valid license tag, and require you to remain in the designated area supervising your dogs. Read the full rules for health, behavior, and children before visiting.
The City's off-leash dog-park page says use is limited to licensed dogs belonging to Livermore residents. LARPD's rules require a valid dog license but do not explain visitor eligibility. If you live elsewhere, confirm access with LARPD or Livermore Animal Services before making a special trip; these pages do not establish that an out-of-town license is sufficient.
