The San Jose Lazy Dog is at 5305 Almaden Expressway. Its published patio rules require dogs to remain leashed and within reach, and keep them off chairs, tables, and laps. Pet dogs stay outside; the operator makes an exception for service dogs. A dog menu and complimentary water bowl are available.
LUNA's San Jose restaurant is at 1495 The Alameda. Its FAQ welcomes pets on the patios and says seating is walk-in only, with no reservations or phone additions to the waitlist. When you arrive, tell the host you have a dog and need patio seating. The published pet policy does not establish indoor access for pet dogs.
Lazy Dog accepts reservations, while LUNA uses an arrival waitlist when full. Ask specifically about space for your dog on the patio; a restaurant's pet policy does not guarantee a patio table at your arrival time. Use the location pages for current hours and contact details, including holiday changes.
